Thank you.

Version 2.5 Has Been Released! Check out the updated preview.

Small Update:
Includes updated Stylish code to fix large bookmarks bar

SoapyHamHocks and myself have created a Firefox theme based on the 3.7 mockup.

Version 2.5

This theme has been featured on AskVG, WinMatrix and The Windows Club, Lifehacker TwisterMC and countless other communities and forums! Thanks!

Follow the instructions on the following page to install the theme and get it set up accordingly.

Special thanks to Arvid Axelsson and Thomas McMahon for providing a base for our theme.

Note:
Features:
-Transparent Buttons and Tabs Replicating the Design Found in the Mockup
-Custom Bookmark/Tools Buttons
-Sleek All-Glass Look

Credits:

Arvid Axelsson - I used his excellent theme Kempelton as a base

Thomas McMahon - I also used iPox Remix as a template for several files required to make this theme install properly

BoneyardBrew - custom icons, buttons, tabs, modified icons from Kempelton etc.

SoapyHamHocks - Tons of CSS work, button position fixes, positioning of several new buttons, polish on theme as a whole

I couldn't have done this without the help of those mentioned above, especially Soapy. Thanks!

Special thanks to Vishal Gupta for featuring this theme on his website. Be sure to visit his website for the latest discussions about Windows tweaks, tips, and troubleshooting guides and more!

Also, another special thanks goes out to Mheltin for featuring this theme on WinMatrix! WinMatrix is an excellent site to find all the tools and themes you need to customize Windows to your liking.

Also, special thanks to everyone who has featured this theme on their website, community, forum etc. We really appreciate the great feedback from you guys!

Works with Firefox 3.0 and later.

Install:

To install this theme drag the downloaded .JAR onto an open add-ons window.

Leave us a comment, we'd appreciate it!

That proved to be a little harder than I thought it would be initially. We're still looking into it.

Wow! This theme is really fantastic and I love it! *.* Unfortunately this is theme uncompatible with Mozilla Firefox 3.6. Can you port this theme on Firefox 3.6, please?

Thanks! :)

I'll see what we can do to make it compatible, but if there are any issues, we might not be able to fix them at this time.

The only thing I don't like about the theme is that I can only "go back" one page at a time. Will you be fixing this issue in the future?

You should be able to right-click the back or forward button to reveal history.

Don't worry, none taken. We don't support this theme anymore. In case you didn't know, we have developed StrataBuddy with SpewBoy, which complements his excellent theme and integrates Firefox 3.7 specific features.

This is awesome!
This is the only theme I use.

Only one concern though;
When transparency is turned off in Windows 7 (I do this to save battery sometimes) and I use this theme and All-glass, the status bar will not display full URLs. For example,if I mouse over a link to this page it will maybe display only [link] instead of [link] Disabling either this theme or All-glass fixes it. It's just a minor annoyance.

I would recommend you give the latest version a shot, it has very few bugs and looks great.

You just need to download StrataBuddy and Strata40. All the links and information required to get it working are on that page.

Let me know if it fixes the issue you are describing to me.

Yes, it did fix it!
It also looks much better.
The only problem with it is that I use Aero Glass and when transparency is turned off it turns black, while the older one didn't.
Also, I don't like the colours on the reload/stop button, maybe for the next release an option could be added to make it gray (for both stop and reload)?
Thanks and keep up the great work.

Try restarting Firefox, that should fix it.

I really recommend you try the latest version of our addon and Strata40, it provides an even better experience overall with less bugs.

Well, we didn't stop. We started working on StrataBuddy, which complements SpewBoy's Strata40 theme.

Also, nobody in our team has a Mac, so we wouldn't be able to test that, unless you mean the mac-style theme for Windows.

Yeah. I meant working on the theme independently.
No I don't use a Mac and I meant the mac theme for Windows. It's pretty cool.

It looks pretty cool, but I'm not a fan of the back and forward buttons.

I guess we'll see if we ever get enough downtime to start working on something like this, although we would rather make something original. It's hard keeping up with all the mockup changes.

You don't have to work on the Mac theme, I was just throwing ideas out there. I'm much more interested on what else you guys can come up with.

Try minimizing Firefox. If that doesn't work just restart it. That should fix the problem.

Is this by any chance a theme ONLY for vista/win7? Cause I have xp (I know: getting a win7 soon). I restarted firefox, computer, minimized, still black in that space under the titlebar and above the tabs.

It is geared towards Windows Vista/7 users. If you are not using Vista or 7 you do not need to download All-Glass, that is what is causing the black areas.

Also, this theme may not look that great without transparency. I recommend you take a look at this theme.

And this addon if you would like to add 3.7 specific features.

I hope that helps!

There actually isn't going to be a 3.0. What we decided to do instead was create an addon to work with SpewBoy's Strata40 theme. His theme is relatively bug free and looks great, so it made sense to go this route.

Feel free to check it out at the following link.

We are going to probably leave this one for those who would rather this style instead of the newest mockup.

It seems that a lot of people still download and favorite this one, so I definitely don't want to get rid of it.

Can you please make it so you can choose which page you would like to go back/forward to? That is about the only thing missing from this theme, and it gets a bit annoying only being able to go back 1 page at a time :(

Just right click the back or forward button and the menu appears with the previous pages you have visited.

Hopefully that is what you are talking about.
