Donate (much appreciated!)Description:A skin for Steam inspired by Microsoft's design language, Metro UI.
Installation: 1. Extract the ZIP to its own folder. This folder should contain the following: Friends, graphics, Public, resource, Servers, Steam, custom.styles, readme.txt.
2. DeviantART gives downloads a long file/folder name so I suggest changing it. I recommend "Metro for Steam - (Version #)".
3. Copy "Metro for Steam - (Version #)" to "Steam/skins/".
4. In Steam, go to "Menu - Settings - Interface" and change "default skin" to "Metro for Steam - (Version #)" under the third dropdown menu.
5. Restart Steam
Customization: Accent color and fonts can be changed with the dedicated settings app, courtesy of ~
SoapyHamHocks.
It can be downloaded at the following link.
[link]Friends List: 2.8 introduces three layout choices for the friends list: Fat (Default), Chubby, and Slim.
Screenshots can be viewed at the following link.
[link] To change to a layout other than default:
1. Navigate to "Metro for Steam - (Version #)/Friends/Options/LAYOUT OF YOUR CHOOSING/"
2. Copy the "FriendsDialog.res" file in that directory to your "Metro for Steam - (Version #)/Friends/" directory, overwriting the default.
3. Restart Steam

Everyone (too many to list individually) who uses the theme and provides me with invaluable feedback! Thanks!
On a better note, EPIC SKIN! Just needs a button for the trading card emoticons, It's kinda awkward having to type ":eli:" every time I want to use an emoticon. Otherwise, great job!
- When downloading workshop mods in Downloads page it shows "Details" in the top left rather than next to the other buttons.
Keep it up this is my favourite skin on steam, its super minimalistic and looks much better than the dated Steam theme.
But... please could you add a 'close' button in the download list? I know there is a close button after the download is complete, but the thing is when I want to stop the download and completely delete the game, it appears that there is no 'close' button anywhere in the download box, it's just 'Play' and 'Resume.' I have to re-open my Steam to make it gone though.
Also, I think there is a bug that you might want to fix it. It's the achievement box that appears in the corner. The line stands behind the achievement picture makes it looks a bit off. I don't have a screenshot for this bug, I'm sorry...
There is another bug for the scrollbar being in a default skin in some/many Steam Community pages (Proof: [link] [link]). I'm not sure if you are going to fix this scrollbar thing but nevertheless it's pretty awesome!
Thank you for making this skin, it's really precious to me!
