Accent color, friends list variations, fonts, and decals can be changed online at metroforsteam.com/settings or with the dedicated settings app, courtesy of SoapyHamHocks.

The desktop version for Windows can be downloaded at the following links. Place the executable in your Metro for Steam folder before running.

I hope to have the "BACK arrow" button back in the steam overlay (Alt+Tab). It is so useful than must have to Alt+Tab again.

I like the Nova B1 interface the most out of all of them!
it would be better though if you made all the text white though.

I downloaded the setting program, and that's cool too, but, how can I set my friends list to keep my avatar but not show the friends search box? that's one way of setting it that the settings program doesn't cover.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1wvDz… dont worry if u have windows 7 this will still work at least it does for me, and to use the colourizer download the launcher extract it and drop it in the metro file, then just run it and choose your custom settings

I love the skin, but it REALLY needs an update! I sadly had to uninstall it because I kept accidentally hitting Steams new 'big picture mode' button that they put in the upper left corner by default

The text color for when you're typing a message is the same as the input box, so you are basically typing blindly. Also, when you right click on icons and games, the box is very narrow and only shows two characters.

EDIT: Nevermind, that was a result of my tweaking. I was trying to get it to use Times New Roman instead. You're all good!

Sorry for the delay!

If what the other guys have mentioned still hasn't helped, be sure to check the folder you've put in skins. Be sure there isn't a duplicated Metro folder within. Does it contain resources, graphics, etc.? If it doesn't this could be the reason it's not showing up.

Did you restart Steam after extracting the skin ?
Steam is refreshing skin options on startup, so you need to restart it to make the skin popup in the list.

Hm. Are you using OS X or Windows?
If its Windows, then its easy enough. Just google it and they will direct you to a directory.
If it is OS X, then its harder. The skins directory is literally inside the application itself. I mean going into the applications folder and opening up the steam icon.

Another thing. Don't forget to actually select the skin!

Your skin doesn't let me open new windows with middle mouse button, it just stays minimized and no way to maximize it. Otherwise it's a very nice skin but I can't use it this way.

That's an ongoing issue for a small subset of users since the skin's release. I'm not sure what it is causing it as I've never experienced it myself. Is this an older Steam installation?

The spacing of the "_" and the "X" on the popup windows, upper right corner, such as when you start downloading a game. I cant actually click the X to close the window. Not that it matters too much. Just a really small detail. Otherwise this skin is absolutely amazing, been using it for about a year or so.

A handful of windows without layout files are like this. The design is less than ideal (and I plan on revisiting them at some point), but you should still be able to click them if you find the sweet spot.
